Boberger See is a deep, stratified excavation lake in southeastern Hamburg, created in 1959–1960 through gravel extraction for the Hamburg eastern bypass. The lake covers 7.184 hectares with a maximum depth of 11.5 metres and average depth of 4.2 metres. It is located in the Vier- and Marschlanden district in the Hamburg-Bergedorf borough, within the Boberger Niederung nature reserve area. The bathing area has a sand beach approximately 230 metres in length.
