Brise de Mer is a bathing beach in the commune of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. The beach profile was updated in May 2021 following regulatory requirements under European Directive 2006/7/CE. The assessment involved identification of pollution sources, evaluation of water quality based on historical monitoring data from 2016 to 2020, and definition of management measures to ensure adequate water quality.

Historical quality assessments covering 2016 to 2020 period. 2020 monitoring campaign results analysed by ARS (regional health authority). Water quality influenced by hydro-climatic parameters and various pollution sources including collective sewerage discharge and non-collective sanitation systems.
