Bürmooser See is an artificial lake located at 440 metres elevation in the Molasse zone near the village of Bürmoos. It covers approximately 8.5 hectares and was formed from a former clay pit that gradually filled with groundwater. The lake is surrounded by the Bürmoos settlement and serves as a bathing water body in the Salzburg region.
