Cala delle Ossa is a rocky and sandy bathing area located on a high coastline with a strongly jagged rocky shoreline near Palinuro. The area features coves with sandy and pebbly beaches, a natural arch formation, and rocks. The Mingardo River mouth is situated at the eastern side of the bathing area.

Classification: Excellent (2020–2023 monitoring period, D.Lgs. 116/2008).

Risks

Two identified sources of potential pollution: the Lambro River mouth on the western side and the Mingardo River mouth on the eastern side, both receiving discharge from urban wastewater treatment plants.
