Located in the municipality of Ispani, Province of Salerno, in the Campania region. The competent authority is the Campania Region Health Protection Directorate.

Water Quality

Classification: Excellent (2020-2021-2022-2023). Monitored under Italian Legislative Decree 30.05.08 n. 116.

Risks

Possible pollution sources identified: potential breaks in the submarine pipeline from the wastewater treatment plant located in Arancia, Capitello district; a pumping station on the western side at Cantiere; and the mouth of the Contursi stream on the eastern side.
