Carvoeiro is a coastal bathing water on an urban beach with intensive use, situated in the municipality of Lagoa. The beach features golden sand and is located on a bay with calm waters, surrounded by the urban area of Carvoeiro with houses arranged in an amphitheatre-like formation on cliffs. The beach extends 50 metres along the coast.
