Praia do Vale Covo sits along the cliffs near the Algar Seco parking area, accessible via a coastal walking trail. Stairs lead down to the small cove, though sections of the descent may be closed or missing a ladder at times. A cave near the beach is reachable by swimming or on foot during low tide, and the beach itself is reduced or absent at high tide.
