Castelejo is a coastal bathing water located on a beach with restricted use in the Natural Park of Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina and within a Natura 2000 site. The beach features wide golden sand with high cliffs and a temporary watercourse that ends on the beach. It is suitable for surfing and bodyboarding, with a beach length of 330 metres.
