Cavallino is an equipped beach located on the peninsula separating the Venice Lagoon from the Adriatic Sea to the north. The beach stretches between 50 and 100 metres in width and is oriented along a northeast-southwest direction. It is situated approximately 150 metres northeast of the Lido port entrance. The bathing water has been classified as excellent from 2021 to 2024.

Location

Cavallino Treporti, Venice Province, Veneto Region, Italy. Located approximately 150 metres northeast of the Lido port entrance on the Cavallino peninsula.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent (2021-2024). Monitoring results: EI95° 13; EI90° 12.34; EC95° 38.26; EC90° 30.524. Wastewater treatment from the Cavallino Treporti treatment plant (project capacity 105,000 inhabitants equivalent) with discharge directly to sea approximately 4 kilometres from the coast.
