Corps de Garde is a bathing beach located in Binic, in the Brittany region of France. Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2014 season). Monitoring data from 2009-2014 shows E. coli and enterococci concentrations tracked. Type 1 profile: contamination risk is not established. Occasional exceedances of guideline values recorded during rainfall events.

Risks

Green algae blooms have been identified in the area. Rainfall-related pollution events can affect water quality. Agricultural runoff and non-collective sewage systems are potential pollution sources in the surrounding watershed.
