Darłówko Wschodnie bathing beach number 5 is located on the Baltic Sea coast in the Bornholm Basin Polish coastal waters. The beach has a 100-meter shoreline and is designated as an unprotected marine area strongly exposed to wind and large wave action. Water transparency ranges from 8 to 16 meters depending on the season, with salinity between 5.0 and 8.1 parts per thousand and surface temperatures varying from 2°C in winter to approximately 22°C in summer.

Surface water temperature ranges from 2°C in winter to 22°C in summer. The area is classified as strongly wind-exposed and affected by large waves.

Location

Darłowo, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Sławieński County, Poland. The beach is one of five designated bathing areas in the Darłówko Wschodnie zone.

Facilities

Designated bathing zone in water, waste bins, toilet, WOPR flag mast, lifeguard on duty, prohibition on bringing domestic animals, information board, bathing regulations available for review.

Season

1 July 2025 to 31 August 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025 is adequate. Maximum permissible concentrations are Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml and enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. In 2024, quality was classified as adequate but with two unsuitable ratings on 4 and 5 July 2024. In 2023, quality was classified as inadequate. In 2022 and 2021, quality was classified as inadequate. In 2020, results were unclassified with one unsuitable rating on 8 July 2020 due to elevated E. coli and enterococci levels. In 2019, the beach was newly designated. Most measurements show water suitable for bathing with E. coli and enterococci levels within acceptable ranges.
