This bathing water is located 100 m south of Lido Pisani in a rocky coastal area. The zone is heavily industrialized and urbanized due to the presence of the Modugno industrial area and the Port of Bari. A wastewater treatment plant with a submarine discharge pipe is the primary potential point source of pollution from civil and productive settlements. The water has been classified as excellent for the 2017-2020 monitoring period.
