Dugi Rat-Glavica is a natural pebble beach located in the small town of Dugi Rat near Omiš on the Croatian coast. The beach extends 300 metres in length with an average width of 22 metres and features a mild coastal slope that becomes steep underwater. The area experiences high bather density during the season, with an average sea temperature of 22.68°C.

Monitoring conducted annually throughout the year with ongoing 4-year assessment periods.

Water Quality

Monitored annually with 10 samples per year and assessed in 4-year periods with 40 samples. Monitoring conducted under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EC since 2009. Water quality classifications recorded as excellent, good, sufficient, and poor.
