Ficaiola is a bathing water area located in the municipality of Pisciotta in the province of Salerno, Campania. The beach comprises both sandy and rocky sections. The coastline is characterized by high cliffs with a rocky to pebbly shoreline. The area is predominantly seminaturally developed with breakwater cliffs protecting the beach and moderate urbanization along the coast.

Possible pollution sources identified: the western side near the breakwater root of Pisciotta port; potential ruptures of the submarine outfall pipe from the treatment plant at S. Macario (coordinates LAT. 40.10158 LONG. 15.22264); and a pumping station on the western side at Marina di Pisciotta (coordinates LAT. 40.10372 LONG. 15.22627).
