Figueirinha is a coastal bathing water on the moderately exposed mesotidal Atlantic coast with a 3.5 m tidal regime. The site experiences average rainfall of 12.5 mm during the bathing season, average air temperature of 28 °C, prevailing northwest winds, and approximately 10 daily hours of sunshine. The beach features an extensive flat sandy area with a long sandbar that emerges at low tide and experiences strong recreational demand.
