Praia do Outão is located on the Sado estuary near Setúbal, within the grounds of the Orthopedic Hospital, with access restricted to hospital patients and staff via a stairway from the facility. The beach is only exposed at low tide, facing views toward the Arrábida coastline. It is not open to the general public.
