A new supervised bathing area planned at Flandre Dunkerque beach in La Tranche-sur-Mer, a coastal commune in southern Vendée, France, approximately 45 km from Les Sables d'Olonne. The bathing site is located near the Maupas water body along the town's seafront. La Tranche-sur-Mer is situated on the South Vendéan coast and has a permanent population of approximately 2,991 residents, which increases to an estimated 120,000 people during the summer season. The new bathing area is positioned among existing bathing facilities of excellent water quality.
