Location

Zapponeta, Province of Foggia, Puglia region, Italy. Located 30 meters to the left of the mouth of the Aloisa Canal.

Water Quality

Classification: Excellent (2017-2020). No direct wastewater discharges to the sea. The mouth of the Aloisa Canal represents the only potential point source of pollution at the southern boundary of the bathing area. No harmful algal blooms or toxic phytoplankton proliferation detected. No anomalous situations verified.

Risks

The mouth of the Aloisa Canal is identified as a potential pollution source at the southern limit of the bathing area.
