Mola di Bari, Puglia region, Italy. Approximately 500 metres south of the town of Mola di Bari.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017-2020). Monitoring results are based on analysis of water samples from the last four years. Primary pollution source: the Mola di Bari wastewater treatment plant with submarine discharge conveying treated urban and industrial effluents into the sea.

Risks

No short-term pollution events were recorded in the last four years. No cyanobacteria or algal blooms have been detected. No anomalous situations were reported.
