Freshwater West is located on the Pembrokeshire coast, backed by sand dunes and reached via a stretch of large stones from the car park. The beach faces open Atlantic waters and is used by surfers, with lifeguard cover in season. Facilities include two small free car parks and on-site toilets, with rockpools exposed at low tide.
