Sandy Haven Beach lies near Herbrandston, reached via a narrow lane leading to a free car park with a 7-foot height barrier and no overnight stays. The shoreline combines sandy coves with rocky foreshore and rock pools exposed at low tide, accessed by a path at the bottom of a grassy area that can become muddy in winter, or via a slipway when the tide is out. A picnic table is located at the bottom of the car park.
