Gartower See is a recreational lake with bathing beaches on the south and north shores. A 4.5-kilometre circular walking path with benches and views of various biotope types surrounds the lake. The site welcomes swimmers, paddle boat users, rowers, sailors, surfers, anglers, and nature observers. Green areas are available for sunbathing.
