Gasparina is a bathing water area on Lake Garda in Castelnuovo del Garda, Veneto. The beach is oriented west and is located immediately north of the municipal harbour. The beach width extends up to 5 metres. The water has been classified as excellent for the years 2021–2024.

Location

Castelnuovo del Garda, Verona province, Veneto region, Italy. The beach is immediately north of the municipal harbour (porticciolo comunale) of Castelnuovo. The bathing area covers 0.406 km².

Water Quality

Water quality classification: excellent (2021–2024). Enterococci 95th percentile: 8.393; Enterococci 90th percentile: 5.677; E. coli 95th percentile: 25.207; E. coli 90th percentile: 15.138.

Risks

Pollution sources include the Rio Dugale (dei Ronchi) river mouth and a combined sewer system with emergency overflows. A municipal wastewater treatment plant in Peschiera del Garda discharges into the Mincio river.
