Campanello sud is a bathing water area located on Lake Garda in the Veneto region of Italy. The beach is oriented westward and situated approximately 600 metres north of the Pioppi tourist port. The beach width extends to 5 metres. The bathing water has been classified as excellent for the years 2021-2024.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent (2021-2024). Enterococci (intestinal) at 95th percentile: 4.685 CFU/100ml; at 90th percentile: 3.521 CFU/100ml. Escherichia coli at 95th percentile: 23.409 CFU/100ml; at 90th percentile: 13.892 CFU/100ml. A municipal combined sewage system with emergency overflow outlets and a consortium collector are present in the area. The Peschiera del Garda wastewater treatment plant discharges into the Mincio river in Lombardy region.
