Gdańsk Stogi is a bathing beach located in the Gdańsk Bay with a 300-meter shoreline. The beach is officially monitored during the bathing season and has consistently achieved excellent water quality classifications in recent years. The site features a designated swimming zone and recreational area on the beach.

Location

Gdańsk, Wydmy district, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Gdańsk County. The bathing area is managed by Gdański Ośrodek Sportu (Gdańsk Sports Centre), located at ul. Jantarowa 3, 80-221 Gdańsk.

Facilities

Lifeguards, toilets, showers, disabled access, waste bins, designated swimming zone in water, recreational and sports area on beach, water collection point, pet animals prohibited, information board, Blue Flag certification.

Season

27 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Operating hours: 9:45 to 17:15.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025: excellent. Maximum allowable concentrations are 1000 CFU(NPL)/100 ml for Escherichia coli and 400 CFU(NPL)/100 ml for enterococci. Most recent measurements show suitable swimming conditions. Cyanobacteria blooms have been identified as a pollution source during certain periods in previous years.

Risks

Cyanobacteria blooms (algal blooms) have been recorded in previous bathing seasons, particularly in July.
