Grain Beach sits at the tip of the Hoo Peninsula, near Grain Coastal Park, where the Thames and Medway estuaries meet the sea. The shoreline features sand and mud flats with shells and mussels, alongside old forts and military bunkers, and offers free parking, benches, and picnic tables. Access is via coastal footpaths, and at low tide the flats extend outward, exposing wide stretches of sand.
