Kaktus is a partially cultivated beach located in Supetar on the island of Brač in Croatia. The beach has a pebble surface with concrete structures and is lined with trees. It stretches 570 metres in length and 25 metres in width along a mild coastal slope with a wavelike shape. The beach experiences high bather density during the season and is primarily a hotel beach.

Water

Adriatic Sea. Average sea temperature during the season is 23.12°C. Salinity ranges from 35.6 to 39.4 during the season. Tide amplitude is 26.4 cm. Prevailing wind is from the north. Underwater coastal slope is mild (less than 15 degrees).

Location

Supetar, Brač island, Croatia. Beach attainability is by pedestrian path. Paid parking is available.

Season

Annual monitoring has been conducted for each year from 2009 to 2025 with 10 samples per year.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually since 2009 under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ, with 10 samples taken each year. Final assessment periods covering four years have been conducted since 2009–2012. Quality classifications of excellent, good, sufficient, and poor have been recorded.
