HT. Palace is a cultivated pebble beach in Kaštel Stari, Kaštela, Croatia. The beach is 250 metres long and 25 metres wide, located on a mild coastal slope with a strait coastline. Average seawater temperature during the season is 24.3°C with salinity ranging from 26.4 to 38.3. The beach experiences high bather density during the season and is protected by floating safety lines.

Kaštel Stari, Kaštela, Croatia. Accessible by asphalt road. Free parking is available. Sampling coordinates: 43.5507°N, 16.3545°E.

Facilities

Shower, café bar, bench, trash can, sea buoys, parking area. Floating safety lines provide beach front protection. Boat docking is available nearby but outside the beach area.

Season

Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and four-year rolling assessments since 2009.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually since 2009 with 10 samples per year under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Monitoring results show classifications of excellent, good, sufficient, and poor. Cumulative assessments cover four-year periods from 2009–2012 through 2022–2025, each based on 40 samples.
