Hovåsbadet is a child-friendly, sheltered sandy beach surrounded by rocky outcrops. Entry to the water is available from both concrete decks and bathing ladders. The beach offers ample space for play, games, and refreshment breaks.

Facilities

Piers, bathing ladders, swings, grilling area, toilets (male, female, and accessible), café, accessible ramp into the water for persons with physical disabilities. Toilets are open 15 May to 15 September.

Season

21 June 2026 to 20 August 2026. Dogs are prohibited from 1 May to 15 September.
