Coastal sea water. Beach length 230 meters, beach width 15 meters. Moderate underwater coastal slope (15 to 25 degrees). Average sea temperature during season 23.28°C. Salinity minimum 32.2, maximum 38.9. Tide amplitude 22 centimeters. Prevailing wind direction south.

Location

Located in Cavtat, Konavle region. Sampling coordinates are 42.5801°N, 18.2131°E. Parking is not available.

Facilities

Restaurant, café bar, shower, hotel, swimming pool. Floating safety lines provide sea-side protection at the beach front.

Season

Water quality monitoring conducted annually with sampling occurring throughout the year.

Water Quality

Water quality has been assessed annually since 2009 with 9 to 10 samples per year under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Four-year rolling assessments have been conducted from 2009–2012 through 2022–2025, each with 40 samples. The most recent classification ratings indicate excellent, good, sufficient, and poor categories.
