Rat is a pebble-and-concrete beach in Cavtat, with clear water suited to swimming and snorkeling and mostly deep sea rather than shallow shelving. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, along with a restaurant, an ice cream kiosk, and a small changing cabin, though no shower is provided. Entry to the water is manageable along parts of the shore, and shaded areas exist for sitting along the road.
