Ht. Epidaurus is a partially cultivated beach located in Konavle, near Cavtat on the Croatian coast. The beach has a concrete structure with a natural shore section and measures 145 metres in length and 10 metres in width. It features a mild coastal slope with a moderate underwater slope and is situated on a strait coastline. The beach is associated with hotel facilities and experiences high bather density during the season.

Adriatic Sea. Average sea temperature during the season is 23.54°C. Salinity ranges from 29.1 to 39 during the season. Tide amplitude is 22 centimetres. The prevailing wind is from the south.

Location

Konavle; Cavtat. The beach is accessed via pedestrian path. No parking is available.

Facilities

Hotel beach with associated restaurant and swimming pool. Floating safety lines provide beach front protection. No boat docking available.

Season

Regular monitoring conducted annually with sampling occurring throughout the year.

Water Quality

Water quality is classified as excellent under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Annual sampling has been conducted since 2009, with 10 samples collected annually. Final assessment periods show 40 samples collected over four-year periods.
