Ht. Albatros is a partially cultivated beach in Cavtat, Konavle, with a shore surface measuring 350 metres long and 20 metres wide. The beach features a mild coastal slope and is predominantly lined with trees. Average sea temperature during the season reaches 23.57°C with salinity ranging from 28.9 to 38.9. The beach experiences high bather density during the season and is situated within an ecological network area.

Average sea temperature 23.57°C during season. Salinity ranges from 28.9 to 38.9. Tide amplitude 22 centimetres. Prevailing wind direction: South.

Location

Located in Cavtat, Konavle region. Sampling coordinates: 42.5853°, 18.2246°. Beach is accessible via asphalt road. No parking available on-site.

Facilities

Restaurant, café bar, hotel, swimming pool. Floating safety lines provide beach front protection.

Season

Monitoring conducted annually from 2009 onwards with 10 samples per year.

Water Quality

Annual water quality assessments have been conducted since 2009 with 10 samples per year. Four-year rolling assessments based on 40 samples per period have been completed from 2009-2012 through 2022-2025. Water quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor categories under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EC.
