Ht. Poseidon is a partially cultivated hotel beach located in Vela Luka on the island of Korčula. The beach features a concrete structure surface with a strait coastline and measures 290 meters in length and 10 meters in width. The underwater coastal slope is moderate, and access is provided by stairs. Average sea temperature during the season is 23.85°C.

Adriatic Sea. Average sea temperature 23.85°C during the season. Salinity ranges from 35.6 to 38.7 PSU. Tide amplitude 23.8 cm. Underwater coastal slope is moderate (15–25 degrees). Prevailing wind from the north.

Restaurant, café bar, shower, changing room, parking area, anchorage, mooring, port access, hotel, scuba diving. Floating safety lines provide sea-side protection.

Season

Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and four-year rolling assessments.

Water Quality

Water quality is monitored annually with 10 samples per year under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Multi-year assessments covering 40 samples are conducted over four-year periods. Quality classifications range from excellent to poor.
