Poland Lake 1 - Excellent

Gwarek is a bathing beach on Lake Tajty, one of the cleanest lakes in Poland. The beach is accessible only to children staying at the GWAREK Active Recreation Centre. The bathing area has a shoreline of 45 metres and is monitored for water quality throughout the swimming season.

Located in Piękna Góra, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Giżycko County, at address Piękna Góra 7. The beach is part of the GWAREK Active Recreation Centre.

Facilities

Jetty, pier, designated grill and fire areas, water intake point, waste bins, toilet, shower, lifeguard on duty, children's area on beach, no pets allowed, information board, bathing regulations available for review.

20 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Operating hours: 10:00 to 18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021); Not classified (2020); New beach (2019, 2018). All monitoring results from 2018 to 2025 show water suitable for bathing. E. coli maximum permissible concentration: 1000 CFU/100 ml. Enterococcus maximum permissible concentration: 400 CFU/100 ml. Recent 2025 measurements: E. coli levels ranged from 2 to 67 CFU/100 ml; Enterococcus levels ranged from 2 to 12 CFU/100 ml.
