Municipal bathing beach located in Giżycko on Lake Niegocin. The beach has a shoreline of 159 metres and has maintained excellent water quality classification for ten consecutive years. The bathing area includes designated swimming zones and recreational areas on the beach.

Giżycko, Kolejowa street, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Giżycko County. The nearest municipal sports and recreation centre is located at ul. Moniuszki 5, 11-500 Giżycko.

30 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Opening hours: 10:00 to 18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (from 2014 to 2025). Maximum permitted concentrations: Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml; Enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. Most recent assessment on 28 August 2025 classified water as suitable for bathing. On 27 August 2025, water was classified as unsuitable due to cyanobacterial bloom. Cyanobacterial blooms were also recorded on 29 August 2017.

Risks

Cyanobacterial blooms have occurred on multiple occasions.
