The Kaniów Recreation and Water Sports Centre bathing area is located on a former gravel quarry pond. The bathing zone is demarcated by floating pontoons with separate swimming areas for children and adults. The beach has a sandy shoreline approximately 70 metres long and a maximum depth of about 2.5 metres. The facility operates during the bathing season from June to September and is supervised by qualified lifeguards with medical facilities on site. The grounds include sanitary and catering facilities, a playground, outdoor gymnasium, two beach volleyball courts, two kayak-polo courts, and a 200-seat spectator area.
