Wyspa is a bathing beach located on the Nurzec River in Ciechanowiec, Podlaskie Voivodeship. The beach has a shoreline of 300 metres and is situated within the protected landscape area of the Bug and Nurzec Valley. The beach is cleaned daily and operated with limited hours due to lifeguard staffing constraints.

01/07/2025 to 31/08/2025. Operating hours: Saturday 10:30–14:30 and 15:00–18:30; Sunday 10:30–14:30 and 15:00–18:30. Bathing prohibited outside designated hours.

Water Quality

2025 classification: Good quality. Water quality monitoring shows E. coli and enterococcal levels well below maximum permissible concentrations (1000 and 400 CFU/100 ml respectively). In 2024, one episode of poor water quality was recorded due to cyanobacterial bloom on 08/08/2024. Historical data shows occasional exceedances in 2021 and 2022.

Risks

Cyanobacterial bloom occurred on 08/08/2024, resulting in poor water quality classification. E. coli and enterococcal bacterial contamination occurred on multiple dates in 2021 and 2022.
