Poland River 1 - Excellent

Bathing beach called "Topolina" located in Drohiczyn on the right bank of the Bug River at kilometre 149+250. The beach is equipped with a paved pontoon, buoys marking the designated swimming area, and beach facilities including changing rooms, umbrellas, and loungers. Water quality has been classified as excellent since 2021.

Location

Drohiczyn, Szmita Street, Podlaskie Voivodeship, Siemiatycki County. The beach is situated on the extension of Szmita Street on the right bank of the Bug River.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone in water, beach area for recreation and sports, paved pontoon/pier, waste bins, toilet, changing rooms, WOPR flag mast, lifeguard on duty, children's swimming area, ban on domestic animals, information board, swimming regulations available for review.

Season

28 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Opening hours: Saturday 10:00–18:00, Sunday 10:00–18:00.

Water Quality

Water classification for 2025: Excellent. Monitoring results from 2025 show E. coli levels ranging from 10–30 jtk(NPL)/100 ml and enterococci levels from 1–310 jtk(NPL)/100 ml. Maximum permissible concentrations are 1000 jtk(NPL)/100 ml for E. coli and 400 jtk(NPL)/100 ml for enterococci. All water quality assessments from 2018–2025 show the water as suitable for bathing.
