Location

Szczecinek, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. Located on an island on Lake Trzesiecko, plot 53/1 in district 28 Trzesieka. The nearest bathing facility is 1 km away at Lake Trzesiecko near Mickiewicza Street.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone in water, beach recreation and sports area, pontoon and pier, mooring for water equipment, designated grilling and fire areas, water collection point, waste bins, toilet, lifeguard flag mast (WOPR), lifeguard on duty, ban on domestic animals, information board, bathing regulations available for review.

24 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Operating hours: 10:00–18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification 2025: Excellent. Water quality 2021–2024: Excellent. Bacterial monitoring shows E. coli maximum permissible concentration of 1000 CFU/100 ml and enterococci maximum of 400 CFU/100 ml. Historical data from 2016–2025 shows predominantly suitable water conditions, with occasional unsuitable ratings due to cyanobacteria blooms (2022, 2024) and E. coli contamination (2016). Ecological status classification 2022: weak potential (class IV), with overall water body status classified as poor.

Risks

Cyanobacteria blooms occurred in 2022 and 2024, resulting in water unsuitable for bathing. Elevated E. coli levels were recorded in 2016.
