Kårehamns badplats is located in Borgholms municipality on the eastern side of Öland. The beach consists of a sandy strip approximately 500 metres long and 15–20 metres wide, with sand and stone on the seabed. Water-line areas contain sections with stones. Behind the beach are sand dunes covered with medium-height grass vegetation and occasional bushes, followed by scrubland with grassy patches interspersed.
