Kärleksviken sits on the eastern side of Nydalasjön, a lake near Umeå. The beach offers shallow water, a pier, bonfire areas, a barbecue spot, open-air changing rooms, a toilet, and an adventure walk with obstacles through the adjoining woods that takes about 20 minutes to complete. Access is via the lake's eastern shore, a route less direct than the one to the main beach.
