Erdeven, Morbihan (56), France. Kerhillio is one of three declared bathing sites in Erdeven municipality.

Season

Monitoring typically occurs from 15 June to 15 September in metropolitan France. Pre-season sampling occurs 10 to 20 days before the bathing season begins, followed by minimum bimonthly sampling throughout the season.

Water Quality

Water quality monitoring has been conducted regularly for approximately thirty years. The site is classified as Type 1 profile, meaning the risk of water pollution is not substantiated and pollution sources are few, simple, and well known. Monitoring parameters include microbiological indicators (total coliforms, Escherichia coli, intestinal enterococci) and physico-chemical parameters (mineral oils, surfactants, phenols).
