The Treustel-Kermor-Penmorvan beach is located on the southern coast of Combrit–Sainte-Marine commune, south of Quimper, directly on the ocean facade. The beach extends approximately 2.5 km in a continuous stretch. Water quality monitoring by the regional health authority (DDASS) showed good bathing water quality from 2006 to 2009.

Location

Combrit–Sainte-Marie commune, south of Quimper, at the mouth of the Odet river on the Atlantic coast. The beach borders the East by the Odet river and the West by L'Ile-Tudy commune.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: good bathing water quality (2006–2009 based on DDASS monitoring). The study aims to assess potential pollution sources including diffuse domestic pollution, agricultural pollution, and individual sanitation systems.
