Kongsdal beach is located on the south side of Mariager Fjord and stretches approximately 300 metres. The beach is 1–2 metres wide and consists of muddy sand with areas of stone, gravel, and shells. There is significant vegetation with seaweed and aquatic plants. Above the beach lies a natural area with a small camping site.
