Water Quality

A pollution episode occurred on 8 July 2010. Water quality monitoring results and sanitization sampling data were collected. The bathing area is vulnerable to precipitation, wastewater discharge, and high visitor frequency.

Risks

Potential pollution sources including wastewater treatment discharge, high recreational frequency during peak tourism season, and contamination risks from watershed activities. Vulnerability to cyanobacteria, macro-algae, and phytoplankton proliferation was assessed.
