Lampėdis is an artificial water body created from a former quarry located in Kaunas, Lithuania. The bathing area spans approximately 700 meters and 300 meters in length along the southern shore, featuring sandy and fine gravel beaches. The site has maintained excellent water quality since 2008, consistently meeting EU requirements for perfect water conditions. The area is surrounded by forest and recreational facilities, including a regional campground opened in 2010 with amenities such as showers, toilets, changing rooms, and a café.
