Fogeo and Kerjouanno are two bathing beaches located in the commune of Arzon in Brittany, France. The profile document presents a comprehensive revision of the bathing water profile completed in June 2018, prepared by LABOCEA. Water Quality

Water quality monitoring and classification conducted according to European bathing water regulations. The profile includes analysis of bacterial contamination, shellfish harvesting zones, phytoplankton proliferation potential, and macro-debris. Raw analysis results are provided in the annexes.

Risks

Identified pollution sources include stormwater discharge, wastewater from domestic sources, discharge from thalassotherapy facility (Miramar La Cigale), and diffuse pollution. Potential for algae accumulation and sensitivity to seaweed beaching noted. Jellyfish presence recorded.
