Palus Beach is a bathing location in the commune of Plouha on the Côtes d'Armor coast. The beach is subject to monitoring under the 2006 bathing water directive. The beach has experienced bacterial contamination from the Corzic watershed. Water quality assessments have been conducted to evaluate bacterial levels and identify pollution sources affecting the site.

Bacterial water quality monitoring has been conducted at Palus Beach. Contamination from the Corzic watershed basin has been identified as an avowed source of bacterial pollution affecting the marine environment at the beach.

Bacterial contamination from the Corzic watershed. Macro-algae proliferation potential exists. Phytoplankton proliferation potential has been assessed. Recreational shellfish harvesting was prohibited by prefectoral decree on 22/09/16.
