Water Quality

Risks

Potential pollution sources identified include permanent water flows, stormwater runoff, domestic wastewater, and agricultural activities in the study zone. Sensitivity to macroalgae beaching has been documented. The profile assessment includes evaluation of fecal bacterial risks and hazards related to rainfall events.
